Ministries

Programs to nurture, reach out to the community
and to
educate through ministries and worship are available at our church
as are some fun activities such as...

Care Groups... Some churches call them "Shepherd Groups" - we call them Care Groups. 

Our members are divided into groups of 16-18 people who meet at least six times a year for fellowship and to get to know one another.  The groups schedule activities, such as eating out, going to plays, music concerts, and ball games (to name just a few of the many activities).  Our purpose is to get to know one another and care for each other.  The composition of each group changes every year so we get to know a lot of people in our congregation.

Golf - 9 Holes

          

Golf - 18 Holes
 
Nine-Hole Ladies Golf - Ladies golf every Thursday morning.  Sign up on Sunday to play the following Thursday morning.
Nine-Hole Hackers Group - From April through October, The "Highland Hackers" play a four person 9-hole scramble onTuesday afternoons at Bella Vista golf courses.  Golf is followed by fellowship and food... either a potluck or out to eat.  Regular players and subs needed.  This is a fun group! 
   
 
Eighteen-Hole HUMMERETTES Women's Golf - Spring play... the league plays Tuesday, April through October.  There are four tee times, regular players - with a sub list.  Winter play... two tee times each week as weather permits.
Eighteen Hole HUMMERS Men's Golf - Sign up every Sunday to play Monday at various courses.  Six tee times in the winter and seven tee times in the summer. Golf teams and scores are listed on the Hummer's web page

Marathon Bridge

The Marathon bridge group meets on the 2d Friday of each month. 
Players are asked to bring a sack lunch.

Weekly meeting to embroider, crochet, knit,

bead.
PRAYER SHAWLS... Crochet, Knit or Quilt. 


Softball

 
Summer church Softball League games are on
 
Mondays at 6:16 and 7:30 p.m.
 
at the ballpark below Loch Lomond Dam. 
The league is open to both men and women.
